DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
As the proactive and persuasive Senior Research Manager based in our Shanghai headquarters, you will work with us to deliver insights and understandings through innovative methodologies to open up possibilities. You will grow trust-based client relationships, share your ideas to develop client-ready solutions, support cross-department collaborations including business development and knowledge sharing, and lead a skillful and multicultural team to deliver excellence.
You will become a brand expert in tune with the latest state of the art in the branding field. You will also be exposed to multiple research projects of both traditional and innovative methodologies. You will be able to extend your insights insight skills and thinking into different areas of the branding world.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring timelydelivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Conduct thorough analysis of research data, providingmeaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Implement and maintain best practices in researchmethodologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align researchobjectives with broader business goals.
- Take control of the report quality and run final reportto clients.
Client Engagement │We build journey with clients, guide them through unique, various, andexciting projects. Are you ready to build a new journey, too?
- Collaborate with Business and Account Management Teams to activate existing clients and develop new clients. Supervise or take chargeof market research proposals, attending pitch meetings and presentation meetings.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor research solutions accordingly.
- Present research findings in a compelling manner, providing actionable insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic recommendations based on research outcomes.
- Ensure client satisfaction and seek opportunities for business expansion through additional research projects.
Thought Leadership │ You will become a brand expert in tune with the latest state of art inthe branding field.
- Capture internal best practices as well as develop/learn and apply innovative methodologies to meet specific goals, such as Focus Group, In-depth Interview, Semiotic Study, Emotional Inquiry, EthnographyResearch on traditional qualitative research formats, but can also involve a wider range of varied techniques, including Social Web tracking, Biometrics,Quantitative Techniques etc.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologicaladvancements, and emerging research methodologies.
- Contribute to content development: articles,presentations, etc that reflect Labbrand's thought leadership in market research topics.
- Support marketing activities to promote market researchofferings.
- Organize the development of compelling case studies and newsletters (content/visuals) from completed projects, as well as relevant articles to promote marketing and branding research services.

REQUESTED COMPETENCIES
- A Master's degree or above, a major in marketing, sociology or humanities related field is a plus
- As least 6-8 years’ work experience in qualitative research, with a minimum 3 years in a role including the management of a research team
- Quality acumen with attention to detail
- Systematic thinking and capacity for abstraction
- Result oriented and customer orientation
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility with integrity and trust
- Ability to progress autonomously and have strong learningability
- Collaborative sense
- Cross-cultural Sensitivity with proficiency in English as well as Mandarin
